1/4 baking soda

2/4Eucalyptus essential oil
Pour a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil onto some newspaper. Place the latter in the kitchen cupboards. This trick deters cockroaches from settling in the house.
3/4 white vinegar
With a spray bottle, spray white vinegar in every corner of the house. The smell will scare away cockroaches as well as other pests.
