Pillsbury Taco Roll



*Ingredients:


°1 (8 oz) Pillsbury®️ chilled rolls

°1 pound lean ground beef (minimum 80%)

°¾ cup Old El Paso®️ thick and thick salsa

°2 tablespoons Old El Paso® (1 oz) taco mix

°1 cup grated cheddar

°Shredded lettuce, if needed

°Diced tomatoes, if needed


*Directions


Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Roll out dough; divide into 8 triangles. Place in 9-inch square uncreated pan or 10-inch pie plate; press on bottom and sides to form crust.


In 10-inch skillet, cook beef over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cooked through; drain. Stir in salsa and taco seasoning mixture; simmer for 5 minutes. Pour meat mixture into crusted saucepan; sprinkle with cheese.


Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted. Serve garnished with lettuce and tomato.


Tips

A 4.5 oz can of Old El Paso(R) chopped green peppers can be added to the meat mixture.


Tips

Serve with salsa, sour cream and avocado slices.
